Solar PV Systems-John Snow, Inc
A total of 3 (Three) primary health facilities benefited from the USAID/RHITES-N, Lango project as below:
- Ober Health Centre III in Lira District,
- Dokolo Health Centre IV in Dokolo District,
- Anyeke Health Centre IV in Oyam District.
USAID/RHITES-N, Lango Project involved the design, supply of components, installation, and commission of Solar PV Systems in the above-mentioned health facilities. A typical Solar PV system consisted of a 3,240W of Solar Module Array, 2400AH Maintenance Free Battery bank, 70A MPPT charge controller unit, a 5KVA Pure sine wave inverter Unit, and a well-ventilated lockable battery Rack
The objective of this project is to ensure the availability of stable green electricity for the operation of the UgandaEMR computers in the respective Point of Care (POC) in the health facility.
