Solar PV Backup system – Kolir Comprehensive Secondary School (SAO-Uganda)

A typical Solar PV system setup consisted of a 1375W of Solar Module Array, an 800AH Maintenance Free Battery bank, a 60A charge controller unit, a 2000VA Pure sine wave inverter Unit, and a well-ventilated lockable tablet storage rack.
The goal of the project is to supply reliable power for computers, routers, desktop printers, and portable charging tablet computers for school-going children in these schools. The system is also used for charging phones and lighting staff offices
